Small Charities Week
It's Small Charity Week and a chance to show your support for Trust Links, your local mental health and wellbeing charity.
If you are passionate about local charities, and are passionate about mental health and wellbeing, then find out how you can make a difference below.
Trust Links is a small, independent mental health and wellbeing charity supporting people in South East Essex to live a healthy and fulfilling life. We work with over 1,000 people a year, and thanks to your support, we are able to continue growing and supporting more people with their individual needs.
We know life is busy, but supporting Trust Links has never been easier. Here is our handy guide to making a difference:
Support Trust Links while you shop...
Whether you prefer the bakery in Asda or the rotisserie chickens in Tesco, it doesn't matter to us. All we ask is that every time you pop to the shops you vote Trust Links! We are pleased to say that you can now vote for us at the Tesco Southend store on the A127, so make sure you collect your blue tokens at the checkout and pop them into our box as the winning charity will receive a donation of up to £4,000!
Likewise, you can Vote Trust Links in Asda Shoeburyness, AND if you shop at the Co-op, every time you buy Co-op branded products, 1% will be donated to Trust Links! All you will need to do is make sure you are a Co-op member (membership costs £1) and choose Trust Links as your chosen charity on your online membership page.
You can also pop your loose change into the money spinner at the Royals Shopping Centre as we are proud to be their Charity of the Year!
Another great way to support Trust Links is to fundraise for us. From quiz nights, to dress down days, we would love to have your support! If you would rather take part in an event how about signing up for the Colourthon taking place in Chalkwell Park on Saturday 6th July? You can choose from the Twilight 10k challenge or take on the Half Marathon Moonlight Walk? Both events are a lot of fun and you can fundraise for us too. Find more information here.
Another way to get involved is to join us at our events. Next up is our fantastic, vibrant, Summer Fayre taking place at Growing Together Shoeburyness on Wednesday 3rd July! More here.
Volunteering is a great way to get involved. When Debbie was made redundant from her HR job in London, she came to Trust Links as a volunteer and has enjoyed every minute. She recently told us "I don’t grow a lot of veg at home so I have learnt a
lot here. I don’t know what the future holds, but I hope it involves gardening
in some way, being outside, and maybe mental health and wellbeing too. It sure
