This February, thousands of people are taking to social media in an attempt to help promote conversations on mental health for Time to Talk day, 6th of February 2020.
It is never too early or too late to start an important conversation about mental health: that’s the message being put forward by Southend’s local mental health and wellbeing charity Trust Links. Starting a conversation about mental health can be difficult, but life changing. To help spread this message, the REACH Wellbeing Hub team from Trust Links will be at the Royals Shopping Centre Southend from 10 am on Thursday 6th February, talking to the public about the support available at the charity.
The REACH Wellbeing Hub offer help and advice on a range of subjects that may be affecting people’s mental health and wellbeing. By teaming up with local organisations and services, the Wellbeing Hub can offer support on subjects such as housing, drug and alcohol addiction, mental health, healthier lifestyles and benefits. Time to Talk day is the perfect opportunity for people who feel they may need a bit of support for themselves, or a loved one, to come and meet the team and start that important conversation. It’s time to talk.
The REACH Wellbeing Hub is open Monday to Friday, from 1 pm to 4 pm at Growing Together Westcliff and from the end of February it will be 7 days per week.
