We run a range of projects and services to help address mental health needs in Essex, whilst seeking to improve the natural environment and people’s connection to nature.

We are now expanding our services both geographically within Essex and also with new projects such as Therapy Links, our new counselling service.  As well as this new work we are still running innovative services in local communities including Growing Together therapeutic gardens, REACH Recovery College, REACH Wellbeing Hub, children and youth provision. Mental health, wellbeing, recovery and the environment are at the heart of our inclusive approach.

Children, Youth & Families Team Manager

Deadline: 30th November 2022

POST SALARY:£24,000 – £26,500 per annum depending upon skills and experience

POST LOCATIONS: Rochford. You may be required to work at any Trust Links project site

HOURS OF WORK: 8.30 am – 4.30 pm Monday to Friday (will be required to work outside of these hours)

As the Children, Youth and Families Manager you will work closely with your friendly and enthusiastic team, helping us to continue to transform the lives of young people in Essex. The Youth and Families Manager role welcomes you to be creative, share your vision and ideas, and help us to shape the future of our youth services/projects across Essex.

Our projects are held at our beautiful therapeutic gardens, which provide a unique and tranquil working environment. We also offer staff wellbeing support and staff away days, helping you to look after your own wellbeing and feel connected to the rest of the organisation.

The Postholder will be required to:

  • Lead the development and implementation of children and young people’s projects at Trust Links including Youth Links, Families Growing Together, and Learning Together
  • Manage, oversee and direct the work of staff and volunteers delivering children and youth projects at Trust Links
  • Promote children and youth projects, liaising with schools, children’s centres, social care, youth council and other relevant services
  • Monitor and evaluate the programme
