Our mental health and wellbeing has never been more important. Trust Links runs a range of projects and services to help address mental health needs in South Essex, whilst seeking to improve the natural environment and people’s connection to nature.

This is a great time to join Trust Links. We are developing innovative services in local communities across Southend, Castle Point and Rochford including Growing Together therapeutic gardens, REACH Recovery College, REACH Wellbeing Hubs, children and youth provision. Mental health, wellbeing, recovery and the environment are at the heart of our inclusive approach.

The Wellbeing Hub provides holistic wellbeing support, peer support and multiagency service delivery through Southend, Castle Point and Rochford, with the aim of preventing and reducing the demand on secondary mental health services.

 

The REACH Wellbeing Hub Team works closely with the REACH Recovery College and Growing Together and services run by other organisations including Health Trainers, Citizens Advice, Advocacy and drug and alcohol support services.
We now have two permanent vacancies;


Wellbeing Hub Project Worker: Depression & Suicide Pathway 

£17,500 to £20,500 per annum depending upon experience

Closing date: 28 November 2021

Working in close partnership with health professionals in Primary Care, the Depression & Suicide Pathway provides wellbeing support to adults experiencing depression and suicidal ideation. The service is targeted at individuals who have been diagnosed by their GP with depression who are waiting for antidepressants to start working and/or are waiting for psychological therapies. The service designed to connect to people through regular motivational calls, access to a range of wellbeing support and positive activities. Project Workers will make have a check-in call or meeting each week for an initial 6- week period, with escalation to clinicians if safety concerns are raised.

Wellbeing Hub Project Worker:

£17,500 to £20,500 per annum depending upon experience

Closing date: 28 November 2021

This role is part of the Outreach and Engagement project, working as part of the Wellbeing Hub.  You will, engage with adults in secondary mental health services to engage them in community services, reducing their reliance on clinical services and helping their wellbeing and recovery.

For both of these roles delivery will be during the day, seven days per week and staff will be scheduled in advance to deliver at hub services on Saturday and Sunday afternoons throughout the year.
