The Essex Green Weekend is a new and exciting festival to engage communities, faith groups and anyone interested in climate change action. Taking place at Othona Bradwell, on the shores of the Blackwater Estuary between 30th April to 2nd May, the Essex Green Weekend is an amazing opportunity to gain a better understanding of how to:
- take climate action
- celebrate action taken
- connect with likeminded people and organisations through networking and a range of activities, workshops and entertainment.
The weekend event is being run by Othona Bradwell in partnership with fellow environmental charities that are also taking steps to improve climate action and awareness. Local environment and mental health charity Trust Links, Diocese of Chelmsford, and Southend in Transition have teamed with Othona to deliver a schedule of engaging talks, activities, debates, art workshops, and entertainment, offering something for both adults and children.
