I really enjoy being an Events Volunteer because I get to work with a variety of people on different projects.
I find that I am able to utilise my existing skills and experience and adapt them to suit the needs of the charity and/or the members. I enjoy how friendly people are and all the positivity around the fundraising and community based events. I look forward to each event that I am able to contribute to! –

Events & Fundraising – support exciting community events, with dates throughout the year including at evenings and weekends.
ReRooted Shop & Hub – help run our new sustainable shop.
Driving – minibus or van drivers needed.

We value our volunteers greatly and have a robust recruitment process in place to make the journey into volunteering as informative and clear as possible.

We get together to mark special occasions, and encourage our volunteer to try out new roles within the charity if they wish to gain more experience.

As a Youth Activities volunteer, I feel that I am contributing to life-changing causes as much as I am strengthening my own skills and confidence. I enjoy learning how best to support young people through both volunteering and taking part in free accredited training courses. The role also fits very flexibly around my other commitments. I am grateful to be part of such a friendly and uplifting community of volunteers, members, and staff! –
