Developed by the charity Trust Links, this free app offers a safe and supportive space for you to build resilience, boost wellbeing, and access self-guided tools – wherever you are and whenever you need it.

Your responses are stored safely and can help build a picture of your wellbeing over time. Staff at Trust Links may also view your responses if you’re already using our services to help us to support your journey.
These activities are designed to help you stay supported while you wait if you’re on a waiting list for support, or to keep up the positive work if you’re already on a recovery journey.
This Privacy Policy explains how and why we collect, store, and use your personal data through the Trust Links Wellbeing App (“the app”). It also outlines your rights in relation to your personal data and how to exercise them.
Who We Are
We are Trust Links Ltd, a registered charity in England and Wales (Charity No. 1092324, Company No. 4351216), with our head office located at 47 Fairfax Drive, Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex, SS0 9AG. Our mission is to support individuals with their mental health and wellbeing through recovery-focused services, courses, peer support and community projects.
This app has been developed to complement our services and offer users access to wellbeing tools and self-management resources.

- What Personal Data We Collect
When you register to use the app, we collect the following information directly from you:
- Name
- Email address
If you are already receiving support from Trust Links or are on a waiting list, your app account will be linked to your record in our CRM system (Charitylog). This enables seamless and secure data transfer, reducing the need to repeat information and improving the quality of support you receive.
Additional data you may choose to enter in the app includes: - Mood and sleep ratings
- Journal entries and wellbeing reflections
- Responses to wellbeing questionnaires
- Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAPs), Individual Learning Plans and Safety Plans
This data is stored securely within our content management system (CMS) and synced with our CRM (Charitylog) where applicable.
- Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing Your Data
We collect and use your data to:
- Enable your access to the app and authenticate your identity (Contractual necessity)
- Provide tailored wellbeing content and tools (Legitimate interest)
- Track your usage to help you reflect on your wellbeing journey (Legitimate interest/Consent)
- Store assessments and outcomes as part of your support journey (Consent/Legitimate interest)
- Generate anonymised data to evaluate the effectiveness of the app (Consent)
You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting the app or contacting us.
- Storage and Security of Your Data
Data is stored on secure, UK-based servers using encrypted data transfer and SSL certificates. Some data will also be stored in our CRM system (Charitylog) which is accredited with ISO27001 and NHS DSPT (Data Security and Protection Toolkit) standards.
Only authorised Trust Links staff have access to your personal data, and access is role-based. - Sharing Your Data
We do not share your identifiable personal data with any external organisations for commercial or marketing purposes.
Anonymised data (where no individual can be identified) may be:
- Used internally to monitor service impact and improve app functionality
- Shared with research partners, such as universities, to evaluate the app’s impact as part of academic studies
All shared data is fully anonymised and cannot be traced back to any individual.
- Retention of Your Data
We retain your data for up to 7 years after your last engagement with the app or Trust Links services. After this period, your data will either be deleted or anonymised. - Your Rights
