Get involved with Mental Health Awareness Week 2023

Mental Health Awareness Week takes place on the 15th to 21st May, and this year the focus is on anxiety.

A recent study by Mental Health Foundation found that around a quarter of adults felt that anxiety around finances prevented them doing the things they want to do “some or all of the time”. With such a large quantity of adults being affected, Mental Health Awareness Week is aiming to use it’s theme to raise awareness, and provide information to support those dealing with anxiety.

For over 20 years we have been working with members of the community to help them understand and access support for their mental health and wellbeing. Many of our members have suffered, or are suffering with feelings of anxiety, and we have seen how negatively it can impact lives. But there is hope, and we will continue to provide adults and young people with the support they need across Essex.

This Mental Health Awareness Week, you too can make a huge impact.
