This is a great time to join Trust Links. We now have four Growing Together therapeutic community gardens in Westcliff, Shoeburyness, Thundersley and at our Rochford site. We are a key partner in the Southend’s Carers Hub and have been hosting and managing the innovative REACH Recovery College pilot for South East Essex for the last 2 years. Trust Links supports more than 1,000 people per year.
Mental health wellbeing and recovery is at the heart of our inclusive approach and we are recruiting positive people to help our charity grow.
We have been awarded funding from Lloyds Bank Foundation for this post, initially for three years.
Personal Progression Tutor Up to 30 hours per week based at Trust Links sites around South East Essex. Flexible working arrangements considered (e.g. term time only)
£20,000 - £25,000 pro rata per annum depending on experience
The Postholder will be required to:
· deliver student support and negotiate learning targets
· provide learning and assessment for adults with lived experience of mental health on accredited programmes
· ensure high quality of learner experience, good retention and successful accreditation of achievement
You will need to have experience of working with adults with mental health needs, leading or assisting the delivery of accredited learning outcomes to groups and experience of providing 1:1 and group work within an educational setting. You will have a relevant professional qualification or plan to work towards one.
