Eco Days
The Trust Links Eco Days workshops promote positive, practical ways to living a more sustainable lifestyle. These easy and low cost activities can help to reduce our negative impact on the environment.
Our Eco Days workshops cover a wide range of engaging subjects and take place in community venues around Southend, Basildon Rochford and Castle Point.
What do the workshops include?
> Energy: including reducing energy use, improving insulation
> Biodiversity: such as making bird feeders and seed bombs, gardening
> Food: such as jam and chutney making, foraging, making sauerkraut and bread
> “stuff” – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: for example, repair cafe, make do and mend workshops, sewing, upcycling

We are currently working with Milton Community Partnership to run environmental activities at St Mark’s Hall in Princes Street, Southend.
Thanks to funding by The National Lottery Community Fund, we are able to run the Milton Community Connection sessions, which include healthy and environmentally conscious meal as well as a themed eco workshop.
