🌳What is a Forest School?

Forest School is a nature-based approach to learning that takes place outdoors, encouraging children and young people to explore, discover and grow through hands-on experiences in a woodland or natural environment.

> Outdoor Crafts – Play based learning nurturing creativity

> Den Building – Imagination and team work

> Fire Lighting – Safety knowledge while building confidence

> Connect with Nature – Observation, learning and promoting biodiversity

> Construction – Building bug hotels and using tools


👋Session times and bookings

Monday mornings 10 am – 12 noon – Elm Road, Shoeburyness, SS3 9RZ

Friday mornings 10 am – 12 noon – 47 Fairfax Drive, Westcliff on Sea, SS0 9AG

Plus additional time from 12 noon until 1 pm for familes to enjoy luch and explore the garden

Pricing: First child £5. Additional children £2.50 (£1 for children under 1 year old)

We also offer Forest School sessions for schools and community groups for children.

Our aim is to help develop confidence and a curiosity for life and to learn in ways that nurture mental wellbeing.

Our team of qualified, Level 3 Forest School Practitioners’ are also horticultural trained and have a passion to inspire the next generation of nature lovers in fun and relevant ways.
