Free Summer Holiday Activities for Children Aged 7-11
Looking for unique childcare and fun, outdoor adventures this summer? Join our HAF Forest School Club at St Laurence Orchard, where children can explore nature, learn new skills, make friends and enjoy healthy food in a safe and welcoming environment.
Funded through the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme, these sessions are packed with exciting nature-based activities designed to build confidence, creativity and wellbeing.

Monday 27th July to Thursday 20th August 2026
Mondays to Thursdays | 10am – 2pm

What Will We Be Doing?
Every day brings a new outdoor adventure. Children will have the opportunity to:
> Take part in team challenges and outdoor games
> Learn fire lighting and outdoor cooking skills
> Explore nature through woodland walks and sensory activities
> Use traditional Forest School tools safely
> Build shelters and work together as a team
> Get involved in gardening projects
> Create nature-inspired crafts and bushcraft activities
> Discover local wildlife and the natural environment
Who Can Attend?
The programme is open to children aged 7-11 years who are eligible for the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme*.
Not eligible for HAF? Your children can still take part for £30 per day (that’s just £7.50 per hour).
*HAF holiday activities are free for children who receive benefit-related free school meals.

About the HAF Programme
The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme helps children stay active, engaged and well-fed during the school holidays. Alongside exciting activities, children will receive healthy food and have opportunities to learn about wellbeing and healthy lifestyles.
