The Trust Links team garden in Cressing Temple

The Trust Links Cressing Temple garden is the newest of our gardens, opening its doors to members in January 2022. Growing Together is a therapeutic community gardening project offering valuable mental health support and transforming the lives of people with mild learning disabilities. Trust Links Cressing Temple will initially be running every Friday from 7th January 2022, with the aim of increasing the project to two days per week from April 2022.

Located in the beautiful Cressing Temple grounds, between Braintree and Witham, the large community garden space provides plenty of room for our members to enjoy the therapeutic benefits of gardening with our experienced team in a safe and supportive environment. Not only can Growing Together support with mental wellbeing, but the light outdoor exercise can also benefit physical health too. You can find out more about the benefits of therapeutic gardening here.

Members can expect to take part in a range of activities to support mental health and wellbeing, suitable for all abilities. Members can gain valuable horticultural skills, build confidence and resilience, and access peer-support within the Growing Together community.
