Shoeburyness

At Shoeburyness you can enjoy our award-winning sensory labyrinth, a large wildlife pond, and many horticultural features including raised vegetable beds, a herb garden area, herbaceous border and two polytunnels. At Shoeburyness, members can also complete a City and Guilds Diploma in Practical Horticulture.

We currently run two Growing Together members’ days at Shoeburyness from 9:30am to 3:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our Women’s Group takes place on Wednesdays from 1pm to 3pm –  a safe space for women to socialise, share support and take part in craft and creative activities.

Since opening in 2013, the Shoeburyness therapeutic gardens have been awarded several Green Flag Community Award for being a tranquil and mindful place for the community in Shoeburyness.
In 2021 Shoeburyness won the national Best Health Initiative as part of the Green Flag Awards for our sensory labyrinth.

Trust Links Shoeburyness is a peaceful haven that inspires, provides encouragement and is inclusive. People who attend become part of a caring community which is like a warm, friendly family. The support provided is wonderful and the environment is tranquil yet fun, too. Trust Links Shoeburyness gives a valuable purpose to all that attend. -Manny: member
